“It’s so important that we reverse the direction of the HIV epidemic in our communities. There isn’t one simple solution, but we can choose support over shame, replace stigma with understanding, and advocate for our right to access effective HIV care. We deserve not only to survive, but to thrive.”
HIV testing is the only way to know if you’ve become infected with HIV. There are many organizations in Allegheny County that offer free or reduced-cost HIV screening services. If you have health insurance and have a primary care provider, you may also be able to access HIV screening services at no additional cost.
